Universal Pictures Taps Knobloch For Exec Role February 17, 2010

Mike Knobloch, the current executive VP of film music at Fox Music/20th Century Fox, has been named president of film music and publishing for Universal Pictures, effective March 1.
He will oversee all creative and production aspects of Universal's scores, songs and soundtracks, as well as the administration of Universal's publishing catalog.
Knobloch has been with Fox Music since 1996 and is president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Recording Academy and has served on their Board of Governors for five years.
Universal Pictures' previous president of music, Kathy Nelson, left the studio in January to set up her own music supervision company.
