The controversy around Chris Brown and RIhanna's decision to guest on remixes of each others' songs (Brown's "Turn Up the Music" and Rihanna's "Birthday Cake") does not seem to have hampered either song’s performance at radio – if anything, the opposite has taken place. Pierre Juneau, for whom Canada’s national Juno Awards is named and formerly the head of the Canadian Radio and Television Commission (CRTC) from 1968 to 1975, died Tuesday at the age of 89. Juneau is credited with the promoting Canadian artists and bringing international respect to the country’s domestic talent.
